Giles Appreciation Week

Okay, so I've officially woken from my food coma, and decided what better time of year for Giles appreciation week? I know that I am thankful to have spent my semester with the smartest, sexiest librarian (and class) there is. So, in the spirit of feminist Ryan Gosling, I give you Anthony Stewart Head.

*Suggestions for the rest of the week are encouraged*

  1. Madison, though I appreciate the change in the header, the nerdy Biologist in me would like to inform you and the rest of the class that Turkey does not, in fact, have more tryptophan than other meats. It does actually have a bit less. "Food comas" are a result of the effect of overeating a combination of very heavy foods. Tryptophan is not the true, fatigue causing agent. Merely the age-old scapegoat.

  2. I'm taking that as a suggestion Syd.

  3. Accurate assessment, Sydney. But did you also know that tryptophan can double as an aphrodisiac? So there is some correlation between "tryptophaning" and arousal. True story. AND a good transition back to our Anthony Steward Head... header.

  5. Ummm....suggestion involving Giles and his sombrero. I feel like we need an ongoing discussion about what makes Giles so sexy and maybe a Giles photo caption contest.
